| Title: | Boot |
| Description: | This piece was made using low-fired earthenware. The assignment for this piece was to choose a shoe and make a realistic looking replica of it. I was interested in the details of the boot, specifically the straps and the stitching, and also the texture, which was leather. The boot I choose was also old and a little damaged, so I wanted to recreate the folds and bumps in the material. To make the boot more interesting, I added some color on the heel. |
