| Title: | Golden Child |
| Description: | My project is portraying “The Golden Child”. I created a face that on the surface is shiny and ultimately “perfect”. However, it has been broken into pieces and is trying to stay together. I was focused on exemplifying the phrase “cracking under pressure” due to the immense pressure a golden child feels. I added the raw edges of the face convey a sense of hurt within the piece. I worked to balance how a golden child feels, broken under pressure, and how it is perceived and displayed, a shining and beautiful successful person. |
