| Title: | Deer of Alabama |
| Description: | "I created this deer as a replica of the one I shot in Alabama while hunting with my Dad. It was fall and an hour into our hunting trip when the deer came out with a spotted fawn. When the deer and fawn walked 25 yards away from me, I shot the deer in the shoulder. This memory is captured with the real rifle shells I used on my trip. I formed the clay around these shells to build the deer so that the shells fit tightly on as the legs after firing. Once fired, I used epoxy to glue on real elk and deer hides and faux white fur to make my deer look realistic. I then painted the face and antlers with acrylic paint." |
